What A Strange Moment

So Mayme and I were on the way home the other day riding in the car listening to one of the pop radio stations. On came a song that I hadn't heard before, but sounded like it may inappropriate so I changed the station. Mayme started telling me that she liked that song and had heard it on the bus. I told her why I had changed the station. She said she didn't pay attention to the words anyway that she just like the beat and I had one of "those moments". I was the parent. I remember saying the same thing to my dad when I was growing up and all of the sudden found myself in his role. I had to try and think of what I should do and knowing what it was like to be in her spot as well. It was very, very strange. I did change it back.

The girl is so much like me it's not even funny, but in so many ways it is.
